Paonta Sahib Sterile & Export Plant
Paonta Sahib, Himachal Pradesh
WHO GMP · USFDA · ISO 9001 — Laborate's flagship facility for solid oral dosage form manufacturing since 1985.
Established in 1985 as Laborate's founding manufacturing site, the Panipat Formulation Plant — Unit I is the cornerstone of the company's production network. Located in the heart of Haryana's industrial corridor, this facility has grown from a single solid dosage line to an eight-line operation producing approximately 4 million units per day.
The plant specialises in solid oral dosage forms — tablets, capsules, dry syrup powders and liquid orals — serving both the domestic Indian market and regulated export markets in Africa, Southeast Asia and the United States. All operations are performed under WHO GMP and USFDA frameworks, with an integrated NABL-accredited QC laboratory on-site.
With over four decades of continuous operation, Panipat Unit I carries the deepest institutional knowledge in Laborate's network. It serves as the primary site for new product development, scale-up, and technology transfer for the wider facility group.
Eight active manufacturing lines covering solid oral, liquid oral and semi-solid dosage forms across domestic and regulated export markets.
