Four Decades of Scientific Excellence
Founded in 1985 in Panipat, Haryana, Laborate Pharmaceuticals began as a small manufacturing unit with a singular ambition: to produce medicines of international quality at prices accessible to all. Forty years later, we operate five GMP-certified plants, employ more than 5,000 professionals, and distribute over 1,500 therapeutic products across 35 countries on every inhabited continent.
Our growth has never been accidental. Every decade has been defined by deliberate investment — in technology, in talent, and in the trust of the healthcare professionals and patients who depend on us. From our earliest WHO-GMP certification in 1995 to our state-of-the-art R&D centre inaugurated in 2010, each milestone reflects a commitment to doing things right, even when faster or cheaper alternatives were available.

Our R&D Centre in Panipat houses more than 200 active projects across formulation science, bioequivalence studies, and exploratory pharmaceutical research. Our scientists work at the intersection of chemistry, biology, and engineering — developing next-generation drug delivery systems that improve compliance, efficacy, and tolerability.
We collaborate with leading academic institutions across India and partner with global contract research organisations to accelerate the development timeline from molecule to medicine. Our analytical laboratory is equipped with HPLC, GC-MS, and dissolution testing systems that meet ICH Q2(R1) analytical validation standards.
